If you want to go to China, you’ll probably to go to see the Terracotta Warriors. It’s the greatest archeological discovery since King Tut’s tomb. The Shangri-La Suite has almost as much as the Presidential Suite, with its own work desk and private pantry. Then there is the Premier Suite, basically the same, just a little smaller in size. They have more, so you’ll find something sweet in the way of suite no matter what room you choose.

Drink and dine to your delight at one of several celebrated bars and restaurants at the Shangri-La. The Yi Café serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet style with a vast variety of foods available. It is a very popular restaurant in Xi’an, and very famous, as well. You have an excellent selection from seafood to Japanese sushi, sashimi, Chinese dim sum, a noodle counter, and, my favorite, a chocolate counter. You know my sweet tooth. At the Yi Café, all the kitchen’s a stage, with international chefs grilling, spicing, and frosting to your appetite’s delight.

If you want great Chinese food, then Shangri-La Xi’an’s signature Chinese restaurant, Tian Xi’ang Ge, serves authentic Cantonese and Chinese cuisine around. True to its name, the Tian Xi’ang Ge delights the senses with ‘heavenly fragrance.’

If you need a more secluded business or leisure dinner, Tian Xi’ang Ge also features thirteen private modern and traditional Chinese dining rooms. You can have your dim sum and do some business at the same time!
